John Patrick Cartin

JOHN PATRICK CARTIN began his training as a competitive gymnast and transitioned into dance in his late teens. He received full scholarships to the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City and the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles. He has performed on stage as a soloist with Le Reve-The Dream, Cirque du Soleil, A Few Good Men Dancin’, Tokyo Disney Resort, Opera Pacific, the North Star Ballet Company, Evolution Dance Company, and Anti-Gravity. His television credits include Everybody Hates Chris, America’s Got Talent, The Ellen Degeneres Show, American Grammy Awards, Latin Grammy Awards, Dancing with the Stars, and the World Cup Opening Ceremony. He has performed along side artists Taylor Swift, Brandon Flowers, Marc Anthony, David Bisbol, and Laura Pausini.

John has a unique fusion of highly athletic and innovative movement. Leading movement based workshops with performers and athletes from all over the world. He collaborated on Franco Dragone’s The Han Show in China, the 2015 Fina World Championships in Kazan with USA Synchro, and the 2012 Olympics in London with the French National Team. John has created work for RedBull, Gap, Nationwide, and circus festivals the 34th Festival Mondial du Cirque De Demain in Paris, the Moisture Festival in Seattle.
